The Academy Awards® at The Kimo

On Sunday, February 26, 2012 watch the 84th Academy Awards® in a grand movie palace as old as the Academy itself! Join us for New Mexico's only officially sanctioned Academy event. This very special event benefits the Friends for the Public Library. Purchase tickets.

Silent Auction Benefits Friends

In a tribute to Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, 18 local artists were selected to create work for an exhibit titled “The Raven.” Each work of art interprets one stanza of The Raven and will be hung in actual poetic sequence. The show is currently travelling and will be on dispaly at the KiMo Gallery, March 1st – March 25th, 2012.

Silent auction bids start at $100 and go up in increments of $10. Bids will be accepted at the Main Library or by phone: 505-768-5141. ALL proceeds will go to The Friends for the Public Library.
